It is STRONGLY ADVISED that you start your submission process early—at least 24-48 hours before the sponsor deadline.
Grants.gov is the Federal government's initial solution for a "one stop shop" for finding and applying for funding and submitting Federal eproposals. Currently, ASU is using form-based submissions for all proposal submissions using grants.gov.
Only those personnel authorized to submit applications on behalf of ASU need to register (ORSPA staff). Investigators and department personnel need not register, but should instead work with their department-assigned sponsored projects officer.
Remember NIH will ensure you are not penalized for Grants.gov and eRA Commons submission issues that prevent your on-time submission. If you have encountered an issue affecting your on-time submission, please open an eRA Commons web ticket at http://ithelpdesk.nih.gov/eRA/ and be sure to include your Grants.gov submission tracking number and support ticket number to document your issue.
